Athletic programs play an important role in the total educational experience offered at Sacred Heart. They are one more way in which Sacred Heart helps each student realize the full range of her talents and abilities. The school’s interscholastic athletics program strives to develop confident, enthusiastic and disciplined athletes who use their full physical potential. Most of all, the program teaches students to enjoy athletics Teams stress spirit and sportsmanship and engender pride and loyalty among the team members and student body. Sacred Heart competes in the Athletic Association of Catholic Academies League and is also a member of P.I.A.A., enjoying post-season success in District and State competition.
Middle School
Middle School students can join field hockey, basketball, or lacrosse teams on the varsity or junior varsity level in the Girls Catholic Academy League.
Upper School
In addition to field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse, Upper School students may also join tennis, track, softball, volleyball, golf, cross country, squash, swimming and crew teams. Click here for US sports information for incoming freshmen.
**PIAA physicals for all Upper School athletes for 2013-14 will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013. Sign in begins at Noon in the gymnasium and ends at 2pm.
